Quilted Pumkin wall panel, before and after

My quilted pumkin wall panel, before and after is finished, after a few stiches, and some applique work to this mini quilt, think it looks better now, so its ready to decorate my house during this fall, I want to share with you some photos so you can look at it some of the new stiches on it. Hope you like it, also, after 4 days of rain and wet wet weather, I saw this wonderful spider cob, look like a string of cristal beads!! nothing better than nature´s work of art!

Mi panel de pared de la calabaza acolchado ya esta terminado, el antes y después, y la verdad, me gustó el resultado, pienso que luce mejor ahora, de manera que ya esta listo para decorar un rincón de mi casa durante el Otoño, aquí les comparto algunas fotos para que puedan ver algunos detalles de las puntadas y del trabajo de aplicado, espero les guste... y después de 4 días de lluvia y mucha mucha humedad, miren lo que hay en el jardín de la casa, una telaraña con gotas de lluvia, parecen cuentas del cristal, con tanta humedad, no se secan por lo cual permanece así por días, nada mejor que las obras de arte de la naturaleza.

A quilted pumking, hoy en el primer dia de Otono, con los colores que podemos ver en la naturaleza, para dar la bienvenida que mejor que este panel con una calabaza y muchas puntadas. Que les parece?

Si, los niños ya tienen zapatos y pelo, y por supuesto que una gran sonrisa, por lo cual un alegre sol se propuso para acompañarlos en èsta pequeña colchita...

Yes, as you can see, these kids have shoes and hair, and of course they have a big smile, that is the reason a nice happy sun said, "Oh I want to be in that quilt too"....

In Pink and Blue....

En Mèxico celebramos éste mes el día del Niño, como muchas de ustedes saben, pues bien, antes de que se termine el mes, me puse a trabajar en una colchita para la pared con el tema de los niños, ayer, aquí en toluca hacia mucho calor, no tanto como en otras partes del país, pero para la gente que vivimos en Toluca, si hacia mucho, pues bien, cuando hace tanto calor es más difícil ponerse acolchar, con todas las ventanas abiertas en la casa, disfrute de un rato, haciendo estos chiquitines, todavía faltan algunas puntadas por aquí y por allá, en la semana les pondré como va esta colchita.

Here in Mexico, we celebrate Children in this month, well, before April is over I began this wall hanging with Children theme, yesterday was a very warm day here, we are not used to warm days in Toluca, so I opened all windows at home, and enjoy the afternoon working in this little quilt, I will post more about the Childrens wall hanging quilt in this week.

Almost ready for tomorrows class.

Im almost ready for tomorrows class in the big city, I have made more small wall hangings, here is one to make house cozier, nothing like something to remember us home is the best place on this planet. take care everybody and have a wonderful week end.
Estoy casi lista para la clase de mañana en la gran ciudad, hice varios tapices pequeños, aquí les muestro uno para hacer de nuestra casa un lugar mas cómodo, nada como tener algo que nos recuerde que el hogar es el mejor lugar en este planeta en donde estar. Cuidense y que tengan un muy buen fin de semana.

Photo 1, you will need a 8 " litght beige square, 1 strip 1 1/4" beige, 1 strip 2 " green.

Necesitas un cuadro beige claro de 8 ", 1 tira de 1 1/4" de tela beige, y 1 tira de 2" en verde.

Photo 2. Sew the light beige fabric in every side of the 8" square, do the same with the green

strip.

Cose en los cuatro lados del cuadro de 8" la tira beige, cose de la misma manera la tira

verde y plancha.

Photo 3, Cut a square of the fabric that you want to use for the back, and cut another square of the batting, Put the three layes in the way its shown in the picture, sew around the square, leaving enough room to turn it out.

Corta un cuadro de la tela que quieras ponerle al reves, y un cuadro del relleno, pon las tres telas de la manera que te muestro en la foto, cose alrededor dejando suficiente espacio para poder voltearlo.

Photo, 4, Put on all the pieces you have to applique, you can do the appique by hand or by machine, quilt it , embroide the letters and put the buttons.

Pon las piezas para aplicar, las puedes aplicar a mano o a maquina, acolchalo, borda las letras y ponle los botones.

2008 is the year of the Rat, so I made this little wall hanging, so everybody could have a nice little rat at home, just to bring some joy, of course the coloured borders are for what you asking for.
