Houses Quilt, I made this quilt two years ago, its a lap quilt, not big, not small, with some small houses, what does a house mean to me, that was the thoughts I had in my mind in that time, as I had the thought of moving from one house to another, of moving from one country to another, now as I have moved and Im happy living in a beautiful small town in Southern Quebec, think its time to finish it, the quilt has been in stand by for a while, I still have to work on it, some things will come up to it, but as its time for the "Bloggers Quilt Festival", Its time to share this quilt with all of you, hope you like it.

Houses Quilt, hice esta colcha hace dos años, es una colcha para el regazo, no es grande, pero tampoco es pequeña, qué significa una casa para mi, era en lo que pensaba yo en ese tiempo, ya que tenia que tomar la decisión de cambiar de casa y de país en ese entonces, ahora después de dos años, que he cambiado de casa y de país, y vivo en un pequeño pero lindo pueblo en el sur de Quebec, y que estoy contenta trabajando y pensando ya en retomar la creación de nuevas colchas y nuevos proyectos, es hora de sacarla del cajón y terminarla, algunas cosas le faltan, espero pronto terminarla y poder enseñarselas a todas ustedes. Espero les guste.

Después de tanta emoción del giveaway day, aquí me tienen de vuelta a la vida normal, tranquilidad y muchas puntadas, una pequeña colchita, con un bello pájarito >rojo, cuanta tranquilidad verdad?, bueno, pues ya quiero hacer otra versión de ésta mini colchita.

After all the excitment of the giveaway day, and I might say week, well Im back to normal life and lots stiches, here you have a mini quilt about 8 x 8 inches, a little red bird, it gives me tranquility, well I already have another version of this mini quilt in my mind.

In Pink and Blue....

En Mèxico celebramos éste mes el día del Niño, como muchas de ustedes saben, pues bien, antes de que se termine el mes, me puse a trabajar en una colchita para la pared con el tema de los niños, ayer, aquí en toluca hacia mucho calor, no tanto como en otras partes del país, pero para la gente que vivimos en Toluca, si hacia mucho, pues bien, cuando hace tanto calor es más difícil ponerse acolchar, con todas las ventanas abiertas en la casa, disfrute de un rato, haciendo estos chiquitines, todavía faltan algunas puntadas por aquí y por allá, en la semana les pondré como va esta colchita.

Here in Mexico, we celebrate Children in this month, well, before April is over I began this wall hanging with Children theme, yesterday was a very warm day here, we are not used to warm days in Toluca, so I opened all windows at home, and enjoy the afternoon working in this little quilt, I will post more about the Childrens wall hanging quilt in this week.

A house blessing mini quilt.... Im working on it now, I love to work with colors full of life, but this time I want to make something new, light pastel colors, here you can see how I worked the borders with flying geese, yes like paper piecing ....
Una mini colcha de Bendiciones para la casa... En esto estoy trabajando por ahora, me gusta mucho trabajar con colores fuertes, pero esta vez voy a hacer algo nuevo, colores pastel claros, aquí pueden ver como trabaje los bordes con gansos voladores, como paper piecing....
