Christmas Red Work Quilt.Que me mantiene motivada... cuando estamos haciendo una colcha o algun otro proyecto y vemos que tenemos que estar sentadas dia a dia, hora tras hora, cosiendo o acolchando, y no se ve el progreso, es duro, pero si encontramos algo que nos motive, entonces podremos avanzar mas facilmente.
Ahora que estoy trabajando en esta nueva colcha, y que tengo que mantenerme trabajando en ella por largo tiempo cada dia, (ayer fueron 6 horas de bordar y acolchar), hoy antes de ponerme a trabajar en ella, sali a dar mi caminata y paso a paso, llegue a esta pregunta... Que me mantiene motivada cuando estoy haciendo una nueva colcha... el ver como desde que tengo la idea en mi mente de un nuevo proyecto, y ver o decidir como ponerla en papel primero y despues ver como va tomando forma, ver como va luciendo momento a momento mientras mas trabajo en ella, es lo que me mantiene motivada,..... y a ustedes que las motiva.
What does keep me motivated... When Im working in a quilt or in an other proyect and I need to stay seated for long time working on it, day by day, sewing and quilting, and it looks the same, its hard to find something to keep us motivated, that way we would find out something to keep working .
Now that Im working in a new small quilt, and I worked on it 6 hours yesterday quilting and embrodering, I came to this question, what does keep me motivated to finish it. Well I should said, since the moment I see the new quilt in my mind, then I see it on paper, and then look for the fabrics I want to for the new quilt and in this case what color I want for it, then start to cut out all the pieces, and sew them together, and then the more exciting moment for me, its when I began to quilt it, to see how it change, how the quilting brings out the gorgeous look. That is what keeps me motivated.
And you.... what does keep you motivated..

Motivation is a big problem for me. I have to keep pushing myself to work - and to finish. However, when someone compliments me on my work, that's a big motivation. :)
